70’s Bathroom Remodel

Most bathrooms once upon a time had floral wallpaper, pink sinks or tubs, low florescent lighting, just to name a few of the design aspects from a bathroom straight out of the 70’s. Well, here you’ll see a before picture of one of those bathrooms at a clients house located in the San Fernando Valley.
We didn’t spare anything in this bathroom demolition. We removed everything, including relocating the ducting so we could get rid of the low soffit ceiling.
What a difference it made in the overall design to raise the ceiling height and install new lighting amongst other things. A few of my favorite things about this bathroom is the Restoration Hardware Vanity with a custom counter top we fabricated and installed, Circa Lighting sconces, and of course the beautiful Walker Zanger tile!

Modernizing your home one bathroom at a time, one project at a time, is a way to budget for needed upgrades without going into debt.

Do you have a bathroom that needs to be updated?
