Living Room

Have you had the same old living room furniture and outdated design for years or maybe even decades? Well, I’m not ashamed to admit that-even as an interior designer- I was once that person. Our living room became a catch-all room, my shipping and receiving room, the no one cares room.

Until one day, I decided that I deserved better. Our homes should be a place of refuge and peace but every time I walked into that room, I felt uneasy because it was disorganized and cluttered. It was finally time to invest in myself and my own space for once. From staining the floors, to brightening up the room with new recessed lighting and a fresh coat of paint, to new furniture and window treatments, I now call it our, “Ladies lounge.” I can’t help but smile when I walk into our beautiful remodeled living room.
