Lessons Learned…

It is always an honor when a previous client decides to rehire me for their upcoming project! As an interior designer, it is so important to not only create a beautiful space, but a lasting relationship with our clients are as equally important.

If you have read some of my previous blogs, you known that family means everything to me. To be blessed with clients like that makes me very grateful.

For this awesome repeat couple, they decided it was time we upgraded their two guest bathrooms! Although the bathrooms came out great, sometimes the journey to get there is not always so easy…

Nothing is ever guaranteed to be perfect, but it is how we react to unexpected situations that leaves you with either regret, or a lesson learned. I decided long ago that I would choose the learned lessons, as it has made me into a better designer and person over the years.

When it comes to design just like everyday life, we are most likely going to hit some bumps in the road that we don’t always see coming. The most important thing you can do is face the issues with integrity, accountability, and quick remedies.

You can see in the pictures above, in January 2020 we remodeled their master bathroom…what a difference! We wanted to bring a spa-like feeling for our clients and they absolutely loved it. They saw what we did with their master bath and in September 2021 called us back to redo their two guest bathrooms.

Take a look below at some of the before and after pictures to see how great everything came out!

Our goal is always to make sure that the client is happy! From the beginning of the project to the end, we listen to their needs so that when my team and I are finished, we leave them with a fabulous and functional space.

To all our former and current clients that have entrusted us with their homes, thank you! Until the next project…

XO,

Shalena
