Sorry this post is a little late but I didn’t want January to end without wishing some of my biggest supporters a Happy New Year!!
The beginning of a new year brings many resolutions and new commitments. My prayer for you is that as you seek Gods will for the next season of your life that you receive the direction and momentum that you need to have a successful year!
Every year I select a scripture that I STAND on and a SONG that I sing. One is spiritual and the other, NOT so much… Haha! My scripture this year is Psalm 28:7 “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.” For my song of choice I’m taking it way back in the day with Diana Ross “I’m Coming Out”! Now I know that song means different things to different people but for me at this stage of my life, it’s the perfect song choice. 🙂 I’m so excited for what this year will bring for my family and I.
What is your New Years resolution and is there anything specifically that you do to prepare for the new year? Please share, I can’t wait to hear!
Love,
Shalena
My scripture for this year is Phil.3:7&10,its a lot to quote so please look it up,its wonderful. Dont have any special Song, but on days when my heart is lifted up I love all the Praise songs. My prayer for you and your family is Numbers 6:24-26.
I purpose this year is truly to live more bible centered, instead of more worldly center, blessings come thru obedience to Gods word.
Blessings,
Ina,
Amen and Amen!! Thank you for sharing and for your comments. I love the scripture!!
“7 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in[a] Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. 10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,”
Have a blessed year!!
Shalena,
The best to you! For whatever reason God placed the knowledge of you and your business in my path. Probably because of a business Idea I have. So I look at you as a long-distance mentor. So I rejoice with you while your territory grows and expands. Love the idea of picking a scripture and a song. Think I’ll do the same.
Blessings,
Shalema
